Milestone Celebration

Wow! Time has certainly got away from me over the last two months, it is certainly that time of year where Christmas, Easter, and birthdays just gel in to one and cause the weeks to pass by in an absolute blur! We were lucky enough to find the time to travel to Australia to spend it with my father who turned 60 (happy birthday Dad x), but just before we left I had the honor of capturing the 90th (yes 90!) birthday celebration of my husband's grandfather.

The joy in the room was intoxicating and made for many beautiful moments for me to quietly capture. I love using my eye to find the genuine moments in the room, nothing from this day was posed, and it made these images all the more satisfying for me.
